Meet Mackenzie

The Artist, The Advocate, & The Wrangler of Joyful Chaos

Long before I traded my paintbrush for a camera, I spent my days in the classroom. As a former teacher, I’ve truly seen it all. I am entirely unphased by spilled juice, missed naps, stubborn toddlers, or quiet teenagers. In fact, that is exactly where the magic lives. My home is a bustling, beautiful place where we love to entertain, laugh loudly, and embrace the wild ride of family life. While my oil paints and fine-art supplies are safely tucked away from busy little hands for this brief season, my craving to create art has never been stronger—I’ve simply shifted my canvas to your family’s real, raw, and beautiful story.

At the center of everything I do is Jesus. I believe with my whole heart that the intricate beauty of your family's story exists because of the Father. He is the ultimate creator, and we are simply the stewards of the brief, breathtaking time we are given with our children.

When you book a luxury lifestyle portrait session with me, you aren't just getting a gallery for an Instagram feed. You are getting a calm, completely guided experience where you are free to just be a family. I am here to wrangle the chaos, style you in timeless elegance, and capture the genuine, soulful essence of who you are right now. Let’s stop time together and create museum-grade, fine-art family portraits that your children’s children will look back on with wonder.

"Mackenzie was a dream to work with and her photos are priceless! As an obvious mother herself, she knew exactly how to interact with my kids to draw them out and capture the most beautiful moments. She delivered creative and timeless portraits, sweet details, candid moments of the whole family and the valuable “Christmas card” moment. Thank you so much Mackenzie!"
