The Process
1.
Contact &booking
Fill out the contact form or the booking page through my website. Once we have confirmed a mutually agreed upon date, I will put you in my booking system and an invoice and contract will be emailed at that time! Once your deposit is paid, it confirms that all the above information is understood and accepted! All sessions require a non-refundable deposit. If the session needs to be postponed or rescheduled, and is done so within a reasonable time frame, the deposit can be applied towards a future session.

Planning & Styling
I want to help you create a memory that truly captures your unique story. You will receive a brief questionnaire to help us plan the perfect location, style and vibe for your shoot!
I will help with guide by sending a few vision boards to fit the location and style the family prior to the session!
3.
Photo session
Yay! The fun part! During the session we will get the quintessential "Christmas card" photos and poses, but primarily I will be focusing on capturing authentic moments, tender love, and details that you will treasure for years to come.
4.
Delivery
Galleries will be delivered digitally! Each photo is "hand painted" and retouched in editing to give that painterly feel. Feel free to download, print, and share to your heart's delight! Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery depending on the season!

What should I wear to my session?
The toothless grins of your 5 year old, the embrace of a mother, the eyes you fell in love with... these are the things that should steal the show... not a lime green paisely tie!
For that reason, I love helping style families before a shoot and have mood boards and style guides available to help you along the process.
Try to compliment the environment, so you and your loved ones stand out. Try to stay in the same color family without being matchy-matchy. (I find it helps to start with mom and style from there)
Adding texture, transparency, and details can make magic in the light!

What is your Turn Around Time?
Each photo is hand-painted, retouched and edited, typical turn around time is 4-6 weeks depending on the busyness of that season.
How long are the sessions?
Typically sessions are between 45-70 mins. We start about an hour before sunset when the light is the prettiest and will keep capturing photos as long as the magic keeps happening and everyone is happy!
